Thems what dies’ll be the lucky ‘ens

If your children are getting on top of you and are wondering what to do with them this half term then get them to ‘Hunt for Pirate Treasure’ at the Fleet Air Arm Museum from Monday 15th to Friday 19th February. Children and grown-ups are encouraged to come in fancy dress and speak like pirates.

There will be pirate related activities throughout the museum and a Captain ‘Jack Sparrow’ look-a-like will be on hand to ensure any lazy land lubbers get their just comeuppance.

And when your children have had enough of pirate games and activities, there’ll be lots more to see and do. The Museum houses the first British Concorde and Europe’s largest collection of naval aircraft. It even has a replica aircraft carrier which has ten aircraft on deck and two gigantic projection screens where you’ll see jet fighters taking off and landing.
